Type 1 Ice House

Dismantling and reconstruction of 18th century ice house.

The walls are in doubler leaves and would have originally been insulated with saw dust or straw. The vaulted cone shaped ceiling was achieved by building onto a forma as with a vaulted ceiling.

Approximately one kilometre of wall was also rebuilt on this project.
